To better understand where the eDiscovery market is headed, the Legal Exchange Network surveyed its network of General Counsel and Global/Regional Heads of eDiscovery, Litigation, Compliance, Legal IT and Records Management. When asked what their top investment areas are, information management and collection took the lead with 93% of respondents planning to invest in information management solutions in the next 6-24 months.

Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire based solicitors, Wilkin Chapman LLP, and Hull based law firm, Carrick Read Solicitors, have announced that the two firms will merge on the 1st July 2013. Wilkin Chapman LLP, is already the largest law firm in the East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire area and bringing the Carrick Read partners and staff into the East Yorkshire office, based in Beverley will consolidate this even further, taking the firm to 44 partners and 302 staff.
