Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire based solicitors, Wilkin Chapman LLP, and Hull based law firm, Carrick Read Solicitors, have announced that the two firms will merge on the 1st July 2013. Wilkin Chapman LLP, is already the largest law firm in the East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire area and bringing the Carrick Read partners and staff into the East Yorkshire office, based in Beverley will consolidate this even further, taking the firm to 44 partners and 302 staff.

The firm will layer BA Insight's TotalView for Legal on top of Microsoft SharePoint, FAST, and multiple knowledge management systems including its Hummingbird Document Management System to enable its lawyers to quickly and easily to find and retrieve content from their entire corpus of information: including their practice management system, document management system, intranet, and both internal and external knowledge bases.
