Henry Hyams goes live with systems from Linetime
UK News

Linetime logoLeeds based general practice, Henry Hyams, has gone live with a combined practice and case management system from Linetime. The system has been rolled out to almost 100 users across the whole of the business and will be used to manage all aspects of work from time recording, accounting, billing to electronic file management.

The practice will also be using Linetime’s specialist legal aid module to support both their criminal and civil legal aid work areas. They have also chosen to implement the pre-built conveyancing definitions available within the Linetime product set.

As part of the project, the firm migrated to Office 2010, upgraded to Windows 2008 and deployed the new practice and case management systems via Citrix.

A detailed, transaction level, data migration was carefully pre-planned with Henry Hyams’ staff working closely with Linetime technicians to ensure a smooth transfer. This meant that a data copy taken at the end of business on the Friday could be converted and checked over the weekend, allowing the firm to switch to the new system first thing on Monday morning.

Following the go live Henry Hyams’ Practice Manager Caroline Clarke stated “I would like to thank the Linetime staff for working closely with us to ensure a smooth and successful transition.”

The system replaces an Iris (Aim) system.
