Pilgrim are pleased to announce that the BakerPlatt Group, one of the fastest growing professional services businesses in Jersey, is implementing LawSoft across its three companies – Baker Platt, Forward and KYC 360º.
The BakerPlatt Group is revolutionary in its approach and has set out to provide its clients with complementary products and services that help them ensure regulatory compliance. Whilst Forward and KYC 360 º provide training and interactive compliance software for client’s staff, the law firm BakerPlatt provides their clients with expert legal advice relating to litigation, financial services regulation, crime, international co-operation and insolvency. This approach is proving to be very successful and the company has grown over 250% in the previous 2 years. As well as its offices in Jersey, the BakerPlatt Group has a growing presence in London and will be deploying LawSoft in both jurisdictions.
Key selection criteria included the solution’s ability to support its multi-company, multi-office, multi-jurisdictional structure, sophisticated management reporting capabilities, a formal client relationship management solution that facilitates knowledge sharing and cross-selling across the business, a flexible business process automation tool and an integrated Document & Email Management system.
Jim Scott, Baker Platt’s Practice Director (and previously the FD at Ogier) led the selection process and was impressed by the time and effort that Pilgrim put into the firm’s business requirements.
