Catalyst to Preview Cloud-based Storage, Search and Analytics Platform for Governance, Risk Management & Compliance
USA/Canada News

Catalyst logoCatalyst Repository Systems—known worldwide for designing, hosting and supporting the world’s fastest and most powerful document repositories for large-scale discovery and regulatory compliance— today announced it will be previewing its cloud based storage, search and analytics platform at ARMA Live! 59th Annual Conference & Expo, which will be held at the San Diego Convention Center October 26-28. Catalyst can be found at Booth #1832.

The platform delivers a low-cost rapidly deployable and dedicated infrastructure for Governance, Retention and Compliance (GRC) application development that is highly scalable. It is integrated with the Catalyst Insight review platform, which enables rapid identification and transition of data from archive to attorney review in order to expedite investigations, compliance requests and litigation review.

Catalyst will also showcase the speed and power of its Big Discovery platform, Insight, with a special demonstration involving a live database of more than 23 million records.  The demonstration database is nearly 38 times larger than the 600,000-document Enron data set typically used to demo other e-discovery platforms. As part of this demo, Catalyst will demonstrate Insight Predict, its advanced technology-assisted review platform, which is fully integrated with Catalyst Insight. Insight Predict enables litigation teams to prioritize their review, cutting both the time and cost of review by 50 percent or more.

Finally, Catalyst will present two Rapid-Fire educational sessions at ARMA in the Legal & Compliance Track focusing on overcoming the practical challenges of big data discovery:

Surviving Compliance after Breaking Up with IT

Using Multi-Matter Repositories to Reduce Cost and Risk

(Monday, October 27, 8:15 to 8:30 a.m., Upper Level 26AB)

TJ Gill, Catalyst’s VP of Sales, will discuss how corporations are cutting hosting and review costs with multi-matter repositories. He will discuss how redundancy and repetition in the e-discovery review process are unnecessarily increasing costs and risks, and how a multi-matter environment can enhance corporate oversight of legal matters and simplify tracking and reporting across all cases. Using a multi-matter repository, corporations pay once to process, store and review documents, and then can reuse them in as many cases as needed.
