Traveling Coaches to Share Philanthropic Vision, Values and Mission At 2014 ALA Conference
USA/Canada News

Traveling Coaches logoTraveling Coaches, the legal industry’s experts at gaining user adoption of technology, today announced that the company will exhibit at the 2014 ALA Conference in Toronto, Canada.  Traveling Coaches representatives will share the excitement around the company’s Give.Go.Do. program, encouraging employee support of social causes in the local community and across the globe.

The “Give.Go.Do.” initiative reflects the spirit of giving that has been woven into the culture at Traveling Coaches since the company’s founding in 1995.  “We believe it is our greatest privilege and responsibility to give our talents, time and treasure to serve others,” said Gina Buser, Chief Executive Officer of Traveling Coaches. “Generosity is so important to us that we create an annual company goal and encourage team members to donate time and energy to important causes. These efforts have resulted in an average of well over 2,000 service hours donated per year by Traveling Coaches employees.”

To date more than 50 charitable organizations have benefitted from Traveling Coaches employee contributions of time and talent. The company offers an employee matching program as well as time off for volunteer activities. Recent events included a food drive “Can-struction” event to benefit a local Dallas area food bank.  Two teams of employees joined a spirited competition, building structures from the donated canned food.

A women-owned company, Traveling Coaches makes noteworthy investments in the success of women around the world.  In partnership with WorldVision Micro, a micro finance loan program for hopeful entrepreneurs in under-developed regions, Traveling Coaches has helped fund the efforts of African women building new businesses in farming, fishing, food products, retail commerce, and other industries.   Details on this inspiring program may be found on the Traveling Coaches WorldVision web page.

ALA (Association of Legal Administrators) Conference attendees are invited to visit the Traveling Coaches booth (#819) in the exhibit hall to learn more about Give.Go.Do., and to participate in supporting entrepreneurs in Africa by writing notes of encouragement to women business owners.  Traveling Coaches will make a donation to WorldVision for each note written.

Also at this year’s ALA Conference, Traveling Coaches is conducting their annual survey on the Changing Roles in Law Firms.  Conference attendees who wish to participate in this year’s survey should plan to attend Traveling Coaches Business Matter session on Thursday, May 22 titled, “New Staffing Models that Better Support Lawyers.”
