DTI, the nation’s largest private independent provider of e-discovery, legal process outsourcing and facilities management services, announced today that Dr. Erach S. Balsara has joined the company as executive vice president and chief information officer.

Erach will assume responsibility for all information technology projects and assets at the company and will provide strategic and operational direction for DTI’s technology investments to further drive the rapid growth the company has experienced in the e-discovery market.

This newly created executive position will report directly to DTI’s CEO, John Davenport Jr. “As DTI grows and strengthens its e-discovery offerings, our ability to strategically and effectively manage the massive amounts of information in our care is exponentially more important,” states Davenport. “Erach is an extremely well-qualified and experienced leader to help continuously improve the infrastructure and data security of our advanced e-discovery service offerings.”

Erach has held numerous CIO leadership positions most recently at Exide Technologies, a global leader in stored energy, and before that FleetPride Inc., the largest independent distributor of heavy-duty truck parts in the United States.
