Sherpa Software will launch a new service, Domino Decryption Services, at Connect 2013 as a complement to its suite ofIBM Domino solutions, which provide extensive email management, archiving, content filtering, policy enforcement and database administration capabilities to companies addressing issues relating to compliance, storage management and e-Discovery within IBM Domino.
When companies are faced with ongoing e-Discovery cases, manually searching encrypted data is both time consuming and costly and they typically turn to a third-party solution. They often find that encrypting the data caused it to be unsearchable and even though they have taken all the correct measures to collect and protect data, it is unusable which is not an option when it comes to e-Discovery.
Sherpa Software’s Domino Decryption Services will solve this problem for companies by providing a process to decrypt all journal messages, so when a search is needed, the data will already be decrypted, allowing an automated search to take place. The process will identify all journal databases, provide statistics on each and decrypt the messages.
In addition, Sherpa Software solutions like Compliance Attender and Discovery Attender will work with Decryption Services to create a seamless approach to retrieving data.
“Compliance Attender can easily replace the inherent journaling found within Domino, providing additional functionality and preventing future encryption issues,,” said Denny Russell, senior product specialist at Sherpa Software. “Adding on Discovery Attender will allow you to perform automated searches saving you both time and money.”
Along with the premiere of Domino Decryption Services, Sherpa will demonstrate its award winning email management, compliance and e-discovery solutions at the show, working out of Booth B69. The company will also hold a drawing for an Apple iPad awarded to one lucky booth visitor who registers during the course of the show.
