Award winning Kent solicitors use Linetime to expand business
UK News

Linetime logoThe recent property boom in various parts of the country has meant a welcome return to conveyancing levels not seen since 2007. As a result, senior management teams in firms of solicitors across the country are consequently asking is it time to grow our conveyancing business? London and South East Conveyancers of the Year, Boys & Maughan, have been seeing their workload increase to its highest levels in six years. The firm’s main offices are in Margate, Kent, and they also have branches in Birchington, Broadstairs and Ramsgate.

Peter Rodd, Senior Partner at Boys & Maughan, said: “Many solicitors practices, particularly small and medium-sized ones, are currently deciding whether or not to gear up for an increased volume of work and, if so, how to do so.”

Boys & Maughan turned to legal profession software suppliers Linetime for support and further invested in Linetime’s Case Management System this summer.

“We were experiencing significant growth in our conveyancing work and it was clear that we had to continue our investment in the very latest technologies to sustain progress and maintain the same high quality service that we strive to deliver.” continued Peter.

“To win business and expand you need to clearly demonstrate how you offer more. We found that contracting with Linetime to give us a technology refresh helped significantly when we took the decision to develop the business.”

In addition to Boys & Maughan winning the Law Firm Services London and South East Regional Conveyancing Firm Gold Award in September, Partner Richard Durrant has this week been shortlisted for Best Conveyancer in the 2013 Estate Agency of the Year Awards. These national awards are given in association with The Sunday Times and The Times.
