Exterro logoExterro® Inc., the preferred provider of software specifically designed for in-house legal and IT teams at Global 2000 and AmLaw 200 organizations, in partnership with Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), Actiance, EDRM, Epiq, HBR Consulting, Legal Technology Professionals Institute (LTPI) and Morae Legal today announced the second annual E-Discovery Day will be held on December 1, 2016.

E-Discovery Day is an industry-wide, vendor neutral celebration of e-discovery's vital and growing role in the legal process. December 1, 2016 will be full of online and live events along with new educational resources including CLE webcasts, whitepapers, infographics, e-books, in-person networking events, and more, hosted by a lineup of E-Discovery Day sponsors: ACEDS, Actiance, EDRM, Epiq Systems, Exterro, HBR Consulting, and LTPI. Last year, on December 1, 2015, the first annual E-Discovery Day included 10 educational webcasts, 26 e-discovery expert panelists, and 1351 webcast participants. In 2016, E-Discovery Day will add new, in-person networking opportunities with meet-ups in a number of locations across the country.

"We are thrilled to announce the second annual E-Discovery Day on December 1, 2016," says Bill Piwonka, Chief Marketing Officer with Exterro. "Last year, the first annual E-Discovery Day was full of great webcasts that included insights from some of the top experts in our industry. Along with many great partners, Exterro is gearing up for even more events this year, including the addition of in-person networking events for attendees to celebrate E-Discovery Day with their peers. We further encourage all technology vendors and service providers to join in this industry-wide event."

Mary Mack, Executive Director at ACEDS says, "Companies, government agencies, and individuals all have a stake in the authenticity of communications and electronic records, and what privacy rights and responsibilities may apply. The Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS) is glad to participate with the e-discovery community to educate about how records can be requested, produced or held back for appropriate reasons."

And Robert Cruz, Director of Information Governance with Actiance, notes how this event features information on the latest trends in the industry: "E-Discovery day presents a set of unique resources which we find to be very valuable in discussing emerging e-discovery topics."

"E-Discovery Day is a reflection of the prominence of the topic in the daily work of legal professionals," says Bobbi Basile, Managing Director, e-Discovery Solutions at HBR Consulting. "This is a unique opportunity for practitioners to access timely educational material without the expense and logistical challenges of attending a conference in person.
