Global News

XDD logoXact Data Discovery (XDD), a leading international provider of eDiscovery, data management and managed review services for law firms and corporations, announces the launch of a new monthly webinar series as part of the company’s overall commitment to educating customers and prospects.

The first webinar in the program, being held June 22, will focus on mobile device forensics.

To complement the webinar program, the company is providing new articles and white papers on valuable eDiscovery topics, as well as online and in-person CLE opportunities for clients. XDD’s team of subject matter experts – veteran eDiscovery practitioners, attorneys and consultants – are producing the majority of the content, in parallel with third-party experts and partners where applicable. Providing advanced educational assets is part of XDD’s commitment to its clients and the market as a whole.

XDD Corporate Director of Training and Development Bill Millican is a key contributor to new educational program. “At XDD, we believe that communication is everything, and part of successful communication requires our clients understanding the aspects of discovery that they need to know about,” says Millican. He adds, “It’s not enough to train and develop our employees; being good citizens of the eDiscovery community means we need to provide similar education externally as well.”

“Mobile Device Forensics – Beyond the Cell Phone,” the first webinar as part of the new program, will be held on Wednesday, June 22, at 1 p.m. EDT. XDD Director of Forensic Services Scott Polus will discuss mobile device forensic procedures, including practical tips for optimizing mobile forensics practices.

Legal

As mobile device technology usage continues to expand exponentially, so must legal practitioners’ understanding and compliance for multiple types of mobile devices. Citing recent case law where applicable, Polus focuses on mobile devices beyond just cell phones and will discuss how legal teams must understand the details, differences and processes involving these. Registered attendees of the webinar will be provided basic how-to instruction for conducting mobile forensic collections and productions, including a questionnaire.

The webinar on June 22, along with subsequent webinars in the series, is free and open to the public. Interested attendees can learn more and register online.
