More than 400 delegates representing the leading legal and professional services firms in EMEA gathered in London this week for the 2015 Thomson Reuters Elite annual VANTAGE EMEA conference. The two-day conference was the latest in the company’s VANTAGE series, a global event programme designed to offer Thomson Reuters Elite clients across the regions a unique opportunity to gather new insights, share best practices and network among peers.
It proved to be the biggest and best to date, with attendance levels increased on last year’s event.
Held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel on 26 and 27 October, the 2015 event offered more than 85 knowledge sharing sessions and workshops across the full range of Thomson Reuters Elite products and services. Featured for the first time at a VANTAGE conference was Serengeti Tracker, now part of the Elite product family and the leading provider of matter management, e-billing solutions and performance analytics for corporate law departments.
Addressing attendees at the start of the two-day event, managing director Eric Ruud reiterated the company’s customer commitment, detailing plans to further enhance products while putting even greater focus on customer feedback and user experience.
Another major highlight included a dynamic keynote address from former lawyer and now leading consultant Casey Flaherty on the importance of dialogue between law firms and their clients about efficiency and performance, particularly that which harnesses the power of technology. In addition, more than twenty partner organizations also hosted breakout sessions, providing valuable professional insights on a range of product and services.
