Firms accelerate purchases of Handshake Software/SharePoint intranet and Search solutions
Handshake Software, Inc., the market leading, award-winning provider of SharePoint-based products and services to the legal market, today announced continued accelerated growth for its intranet/portal and enterprise search product solutions as well licensing for Office 365 SharePoint Online deployments.
Handshake Software recently added new law firms across the U.S. including Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel; Taft Stettinius & Hollister; Hinkley Allen; Fennemore Craig; McAfee & Taft and Spencer Fane. Handshake Software also continued its international expansion adding two Canadian firms, Stewart McKelvey and Clark Wilson as well as a Panamanian firm, Galindo Arias & Lopez. In 2015 alone, over 10,000 new users have been added.
The latest new wins reflect the continued surge in demand for SharePoint-based portal and enterprise search solutions not only by Am Law 100 firms but increasingly among competitive mid-market players and leading Canadian firms. In addition to licensing the Handshake/SharePoint Portal JumpStart products, 80% of new clients have also selected SP Bridge, Handshake’s search connector to enhance SharePoint 2013 Enterprise Search and the recently released Handshake Expertise Locator, an add-on application to the popular SP Bridge enterprise search framework.

Overall, Handshake Software provides SharePoint-based intranets, extranets and enterprise search solutions to approximately 50% of the Am Law 100, and 45% of the Am Law 200 and NLJ 350 with total users exceeding 110,000 across 10 countries.
