Savvy Training & Consulting, a leading provider of software training services and training content to law firms and legal departments since 1997, announced today that it will be incorporating the LTC4TM legal core competency standards into its SavvySMART™ Content Library and Savvy Academy™ Learning Management System.

LTC4TM (Legal Technology Core Competencies Certification Coalition) is a not-for-profit organization consisting of a steering group of over 70 senior training professionals from leading law firms in the USA, Canada, and the UK. The LTC4TM coalition has defined standard core competencies in the use of technology for legal professionals, which are organized into the following common workflows:
“We made the decision to align ourselves with LTC4TM because our clients were asking for it. As firms encounter pressure from their own clients to consider alternative fee arrangements, they see the value in having technological competency within the firm. Meeting the LTC4TM competency standards will not only improve internal efficiency, but it will also showcase the firm’s willingness to remain technologically savvy,” said Doug Striker, president of Savvy Training. “We are pleased to be working with LTC4TM to help firms stay competitive.”
