LawFlex, the leading global resourcing company, has appointed Tobias Heining to its advisory board. Heining is the co-founder and former president of the European Legal Tech Association (ELTA) and the founder of Germany’s first in-house law firm legal tech R&D unit.

“We are deeply honored that a visionary such as Tobias has agreed to join our advisory board,” said LawFlex CEO Jackie Donner. “He has decades of experience that will be invaluable as we pursue further growth, tap new markets and evolve our offerings to meet the flexible talent needs of law firms and in-house legal departments around the world.”

Heining has spent more than twenty years both in-house and as a consultant for leading global law firms, with a particular focus on marketing, business development and communications. He has in-depth knowledge of the structures, business models and markets of professional services firms. An established thought leader and pioneer in the global legal market, Heining is the author of numerous articles and a frequent speaker on topics related to legal marketing, business development and innovation in the professional services space. He will advise LawFlex on legal tech, digital platforms and related matters.

In addition to Heining, LawFlex has also added Miki Roitman and Kevin O’Shea to its advisory board.

Roitman is an international lawyer with a deep global network developed through both her legal practice and work as an activist. Qualified to work in England, Germany and Israel, Roitman has served as a global contracts negotiator for KPMG and an attorney with Jones Day (Frankfort, Germany) and Gornitsky (Tel Aviv, Israel). She currently serves as a professional advisor to the Status of Women and Gender Equality Committee in the Israeli Parliament and was previously a consultant for several members of Parliament and ministers. Roitman will advise LawFlex on developing international relationships and partnerships.

O’Shea is an accomplished entrepreneur recognized for his results-oriented approach and wealth of experience in the alternative legal services provider (ALSP) space. In 2014, he founded one of the premier flexible lawyer platforms in the world. Working with partners such as Reed Smith, Hogen Lovells and HSBC, O’Shea blazed a trail in legal talent sourcing, developing key processes for enhancing both efficiency and effectiveness. He will bring his abundant hands-on ALSP experience and strategic acumen to the Lawflex advisory board.

“As we explore what’s next for LawFlex and how we support our clients, it’s imperative that we receive guidance from the right professionals,” said Donner.  “All three of our new advisors will have an immeasurable and lasting impact on our company as we push boundaries of our own.”

The new advisors are just the latest additions to LawFlex’s roster of talent. Earlier this year, the company added Fiverr CTO Gil Sheinfeld to its advisory board. The global resourcing company also recently hired the leading competition attorney and business advisor Lawrence B. Landman to head its new antitrust department and prominent Israeli lawyer Tamar Krongrad as Head of Global Operations.
