Catalyst, the leader in fast and scalable e-discovery technology, welcomed Shaun Sullivan, an e-discovery and business technology expert, to lead their West Coast sales.
As a seasoned e-discovery professional, Sullivan has advised Fortune 500 companies and AmLaw 100 organizations on a diverse range of matters including international litigation, sensitive internal and regulatory investigations, second requests, and complex intellectual property litigation.
“Catalyst is growing quickly and delivering rapid new upgrades and capability. With Shaun’s enthusiasm, expertise, and experience he’ll be a great addition to our team,” said TJ Gill, Catalyst’s vice president of sales. “The new machine learning algorithm and our expansion into legal hold requires someone who is both skilled and diverse. We’re extremely excited to have Shaun for his technical grasp of our industry and his global knowledge.”
Most recently, he was the business development manager at Convetit, Inc., where he oversaw business development and sales strategy. In 2011, Sullivan had a project cited by The New York Times, and a year later he managed the largest e-discovery project in the world up to that time. Through this role, Sullivan accelerated business opportunities with Fortune 100 companies through the development of personalized enterprise strategies.
Prior to his role at Convetit, Inc., Sullivan was the director of discovery services for BlackStone Discovery, where he oversaw strategy, business and market development. Sullivan was instrumental in expanding BlackStone’s national footprint, as well as their international forensic and e-discovery expertise with projects in India, China, Japan, Philippines, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He was also an integral part of expanding their technical and consulting experience by spearheading the development of their forensic department.
“I’m looking forward to being a part of such a dynamic and innovative e-discovery company,” said Sullivan. “Catalyst is one of the most unique and effective companies in the industry, and I’m excited to help expand their west coast presence.”
Based in California, Sullivan graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Law and Society. Sullivan also received a Diploma in European Common Law from the University College Cork, Ireland.
