RenewData, a full-service eDiscovery provider that offers the industry’s most advanced spectrum of review acceleration solutions, today announced that it has hired Kelvin Chin as consulting director to support its rapidly growing Language-Based Analytics division.
As consulting director, he will work closely with law firm and corporate clients to help them develop workflows and strategies to streamline their eDiscovery. He will also consult with corporations on data archiving solutions that will give them the ability to more efficiently manage and access electronically stored information.
“Language-Based Analytics offers a better alternative to predictive coding, and a large number of corporate legal departments and law firms are adopting it to significantly reduce the time and costs associated with document review. He has recruited, trained and led teams to manage consultative selling, client-driven service and strategic client relationships with CEOs, CFOs and GCs at Fortune 500 and middle market companies.
Chin previously served at H5 where he managed new business development with leading national and international corporations and law firms on complex document-intensive litigation, government investigations and regulatory compliance. He has also worked with AmLaw100 firms Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice LLP and Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP (now Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP) and has a decade of experience serving as regional vice president of the American Arbitration Association.
