kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, today announced that Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP have purchased a license to install Relativity in-house.

As a fully featured, web-based e-discovery platform, Relativity allows Fried Frank’s users to create and automate custom workflows, make use of a complete set of text analytics capabilities including computer-assisted review, and build custom applications within the software to manage and search all types of case-related data and information.

“We brought Relativity in-house to lend efficiency to our review processes and help us provide significant cost savings to our clients. Relativity’s text analytics capabilities, in particular, allow us to do just that,” said Natalie Spano, manager of E-Discovery and Practice Technology at Fried Frank. “We believe that every case can benefit from the advanced search capabilities and review efficiency that analytics provides.”

“We’re excited that Fried Frank chose Relativity,” said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. “We look forward to helping them better serve their clients through the use of Relativity Analytics and Assisted Review.”
