UK News

Linetime logoSpecialist law firm Leigh Day has announced their successful go–live following the implementation of the Liberate suite of software from Linetime. Following a detailed data migration process they have switched from their incumbent applications to a combined PMS, CRM and case and matter management system.

Leigh Day currently have 260 staff using Liberate but expect medium term growth.

Based around the most up to date Microsoft technologies, the single database solution is servicing a variety of complex work types. These range from large-scale employment actions to major clinical negligence and high profile international litigation cases.

The project also involved strategic developments to help with the pressures imposed by the Jackson reforms. Other key components are the cutting edge business intelligence dashboard and client facing extranets to improve interaction and collaboration with clients.

Following the official go-live sign off, Frances Swaine the Managing Partner of Leigh Day said: “Linetime has not only provided software to streamline the way we work we are also working with them to define and develop the product, a partnership which will see us get the very best from the system.”

“Given the complexity of the type of work we do, handling cases which can have many thousands of claimants attached to it, both nationally and internationally, it allows us to define different work flows, handle complex splits and ensure costs are apportioned effectively.”

“Even now, so soon after go live, we are experiencing operational benefits but particularly look forward to what this agile and ambitious system promises for the future.”

Tony Klejnow, Managing Director of Linetime said: “We are delighted to be working with Leigh Day. I think the project teams within both firms should be congratulated for delivering a sophisticated and varied implementation on time and faithful to the components of the contract.”
