Workshare Launches Workshare Professional 7.5

Workshare, a leading provider of secure enterprise collaboration applications, announced today that it has launched Workshare Professional 7.5. The product extends Workshare Professional by integrating with Windows 8 and Microsoft Office 2013, providing faster and more accurate comparisons for tables and DOCX files.

Workshare Professional 7.5 enhances the product’s trusted document comparison, metadata removal and PDF creation features, delivering users with a complete package for data comparison within Windows 8 and Microsoft Office 2013. Available directly from inside Office 2013 applications, users benefit from comparisons between versions of even complex PDF or Word documents. All document edits are maintained in the original master document, eliminating the need for different document versions and allowing users to easily determine what has been changed.

Enterprises can set centrally administered policies that intercept email attachments sent from Outlook. For documents with sensitive information, settings include automating metadata removal and PDF creation, and allowing employees to replace attachments with a secure link. This prevents employees from inadvertently including sensitive or hidden information in documents sent outside the organization.
