Litéra®, the leading provider of content lifecycle, collaboration and risk management solutions, today announced the availability of two free mobile applications for its Litéra Secure File TransferTM product. Litéra Secure File Transfer for iPhone and iPad, and Litéra Secure File Transfer for Android are available now and can be accessed via the Apple iTunes Store and Google Play, respectively.
The free mobile applications allow users to send and receive attachments and messages securely through iOS and Android devices. Litéra Secure File Transfer can send encrypted files and messages to any recipient directly from the user’s smartphone or tablet, or from existing document management apps such as GoodReader, Numbers, Pages, or document management system integration apps. Other features include a full audit trail showing delivery and access, the ability to digitally sign PDFs, and a simple user interface.“
Gartner predicts that 40 percent of the global workforce will be mobile in the next three years” said Norm Thomas, Chief Commercial Officer of Litéra. “Productivity is driving that trend, and the Litéra Secure File Transfer mobile apps boost productivity, while mitigating risk when distributing high-value business content. These new free apps are just one more way Litéra is fulfilling the promise to remove barriers to productivity and performance.”
Whether Litéra Secure File Transfer is put to use as a mobile app or deployed as a hosted or private cloud application, the product empowers companies to improve enterprise-wide security and support compliance initiatives through email encryption, advanced electronic signatures and secure large file transfer. Litéra Secure File Transfer is fully integrated with all of Litéra’s products, including Metadact® and Metadact-e for metadata cleaning, to deliver the greatest possible security and content risk management value.
