GlobalX launches next generation legal practice management software for Australian law firms

Globalx logoLeading technology and legal solutions company, GlobalX Legal Solutions (GlobalX) has today released the next generation practice management solution for Australian law firms, Open Practice 8.

Open Practice currently supports over 7,400 legal professionals across 500 firms nationally, including Gadens Victoria and Western Australia, Kemp Strang, CBP Lawyers, Thynne and Macartney and Coleman Greig and was recently awarded the contract to support the Solicitor for the Northern Territory, a division of the Department of Attorney-General and Justice.

GlobalX Chief Operating Officer Peter Maloney said the latest version of Open Practice had been developed in conjunction with legal practitioners nation-wide to provide end-to-end legal practice functionality for law firms who want to advance their productivity and effectiveness every day.

“With over 20 years’ experience in the market, version 8 has been developed to enable future integration with PEXA and assist mid-to-large law firms prepare for the national advent of electronic conveyancing in 2015.

“This latest version release of Open Practice will be the most advanced on the market, and will create greater workflow solutions, provide real-time information and services, allowing firms to manage the entire legal process from the one central desktop including matters, documents, time, billing, fees, client relationship management, search, conveyancing and financials.

“It will vastly improve productivity and ultimately improve the bottom line of law firms,” he said.
