BigHand will be “Making Big Things Happen” at ILTACON 2015 in Las Vegas this year, with a completely new look and branding, exciting new products and a major platform release.

With the launch of the BigHand Now workflow platform and BigHand Capacity Manager workflow planning tool, as well as the addition of the BigHand Office suite of products (formerly Esquire Innovations product line), the company is evolving the BigHand brand to better represent its growing portfolio of law firm productivity technology.

In today’s legal market, firms are striving for continuous improvement in efficiency, productivity, and customer service. By working closely with their customers, BigHand has built deep customer knowledge that has led to a further extension of their products and platforms to serve these firms’ ever-changing needs.

One such product is their new workflow management platform, BigHand Now.  BigHand Now enables law firms to streamline all of their task delegation processes into one easy-to-use solution, enabling attorneys to easily move work to their support staff. This enhanced solution will serve to reduce inefficiencies and increase accountability between attorneys and support staff, via an incredibly easy to use and implement workflow solution, similar to the one incorporated in BigHand’s popular voice productivity software.

In addition, BigHand Capacity Manager is a new tool that will give firms insight into their overall workload across the firm and the capacity of their resources.  This knowledge enables management to balance team workloads for the most efficient results, as well as plan for contingencies when work suddenly picks up or slows down.

BigHand will also be previewing a new product, BigHand Assemble, that allows organizations to automate content assembly in their documents, empowering users to achieve standardization and reduce human error. Ian Kujawa, Managing Director, BigHand Office says, “This new technology will revolutionize how organizations assemble content and produce documents. The BigHand Assemble platform is designed for everyone in a law firm, from fee earners to document production staff; it simplifies content capture and fully automates content assembly. We are excited to preview this new product which has been based on close interaction with our existing law firm clients.”

Also at ILTACON, BigHand will be unveiling its newest platform release, BigHand 5.0.  Eric Wangler, President, BigHand North America Legal says, “This new platform is a complete re-engineering of the BigHand client from the bottom up, which in addition to new features, offers our customers an enhanced user experience, improved responsiveness and importantly, a platform for future development that will allow us to bring new products and enhancements to market faster.  New products BigHand Now and BigHand Capacity Manager have already been developed on the new platform, and have received overwhelmingly enthusiastic feedback, both from our existing voice customers and new prospects looking to better manage their back office functions and enable their lawyers to be more efficient.  The ability to manage virtually any task in a single platform has obvious benefits to our clients who are constantly challenged to be more efficient and cost competitive.”
