DTI Webcast to Examine Self-Collection for E-Discovery with Experts from DLA Piper and CareFusion Corporation

DTI, the nation’s largest independent provider of e-discovery services and managed document review, has announced that it will present a live webcast on self-collection in e-discovery on Wednesday, September 18, 2013.

The event will feature Jennifer Feldman, Esq., of counsel and member of the e-discovery committee at DLA Piper, representing the law firm perspective. Providing insight from the in-house perspective will be Michael Frazier, manager for e-discovery and litigation at CareFusion Corporation. Tony Merlino, national director of forensics and consulting at DTI, will also participate in the discussion moderated by Samantha Green, Esq., e-discovery counsel at DTI.

 “Self-collection is an attractive proposition but needs to be approached with great consideration,” says Merlino. “There are many potential pitfalls to taking on the collection of electronically stored information (ESI) for litigation or investigation without the assistance of forensic experts.”
