Traveling Coaches Short-Listed for ILTA’s Innovative Solution Provider of the Year Award
USA/Canada News

Traveling Coaches logoTraveling Coaches, the legal industry’s experts at gaining user adoption of technology, today announced that the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) has named it as a finalist for the 2013 Distinguished Peer Award in the category of Innovative Solution Provider of the Year. The prestigious award recognizes companies that demonstrate extensive foresight in the development of innovative technology and services in a legal environment.

In addition to Traveling Coaches’ inventive user adoption programs, ILTA specifically recognized the company for its ground-breaking OnGuard Security Awareness Program. OnGuard, launched in January and designed by and for law firms, creates lasting behavior change through strategic consulting, live awareness events, online content, awareness commercials, posters, emails and reference tools.

“If lawyers and staff are not educated on the risks, threats and consequences associated with their choices, it renders the firm vulnerable to security breaches, loss of confidential information and unauthorized network intrusions,” said Gina Buser, chief executive officer for Traveling Coaches and recipient of the ILTA 2012 Distinguished Peer Award for Vendor Thought Leader. “The OnGuard Security Awareness Program creates a critically important culture of security that respects the unique needs of lawyers, legal professionals and law firms. We are honored that ILTA has recognized our unique approach to security awareness.”

“Traveling Coaches has taken security awareness training to new level. Many firms offer classroom or seminar security awareness training, but Traveling Coaches has made it a multi-dimensional and multi-media initiative that I know will have far better results. The program as done by Traveling Coaches reflects not only their knowledge of the substance of the material, but also, their knowledge of successful user adoption and change management techniques to innovatively take it beyond what anyone else offers,” said Bob Dolinsky, CIO at Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan.

In addition to hosting nationwide educational roadshows for ILTA members, the company also serves on the organization’s LegalSEC Vendor Advisory Board and will present “The Gamification of Security Awareness Training” at the 2013 ILTA conference on August 19. In 2012, ILTA’s Distinguished Peer Awards were given to both Buser (Vendor Thought Leader) and the company’s User Adoption Consulting Team (Consultant of the Year.)
