USA/Canada News

Amicus logoGavel & Gown Software Inc. is the leading developer of practice management software for lawyers. Its Amicus Attorney product line includes the innovative and mobile Amicus Cloud, a product that gives lawyers the freedom to work anytime, anywhere, on almost any device.

Amicus Cloud was released in October of 2012 and came equipped with a strong line-up of practice management tools. Since then, the product has seen a steady flow of enhancements and additions.

This month the addition of Limitation Reminders – a feature that allows lawyers to log, review and automatically receive reminders of limitation dates.  Callback Notifications  –  optionally sends  the attorney an automated email any time a colleague takes a call on their behalf.  Static Headings on report columns – allowing for easier viewing and understanding of report data.

In addition, the Amicus TimeTracker App, launched in Beta last month, has officially been released after great feedback from Amicus Cloud users.  So now Amicus Cloud users can track their time on their smartphones, making it even easier to capture their billable time.

“It’s been yet another busy month of development”, said Ron Collins, President of Gavel & Gown Software. “Our product development team has been working feverishly to bring these ideas into reality, and as we receive the great customer feedback that we do, it certainly motivates us to continue doing what we’re doing and bringing more value to the end user.”

Amicus Cloud is a subscription service, so all users of it receive all those new features immediately.
