Software Updates and Easier Installation Create a Sleeker, More User-Friendly Experience
WordRake®, which created the first editing software for lawyers, announced the release of WordRake Version 1.2 today with Windows 8 compatibility and Enterprise Licensing. For English speakers using non-English versions of Microsoft Office, WordRake Version 1.2 adds compatibility for all local-language editions of Word 2007 and Word 2010.
Epitomizing the company’s major shift in engineering philosophy to make technology intuitive, easily understandable, and completely customer-focused, the new version also features a redesigned install process users will find comfortable regardless of technical proficiency.
In addition to tiered volume-purchasing discounts, WordRake enterprise customers will receive a special version of the WordRake add-in customized to their installation requirements and pre-populated with the organization’s enterprise license key. The result is a custom version that is easily installed simultaneously to any number of computers, automatically activates its own license, and eliminates all overhead associated with license key management. For non-Enterprise customers, WordRake Version 1.2 features new multiple-activation license capability, offering the convenience of a single license key and single expiration date for any number of license activations required.
Scott Johns, COO of WordRake, commented, “With WordRake Version 1.2 we are thrilled to add robust, flexible enterprise licensing in addition to providing WordRake for our customers requesting Windows 8 compatibility. This release makes WordRake available to more customers, exemplifies our core values of plain English communication and user-friendliness, and dramatically improves ease of installation while reducing support requirements. With so many large government, education, and private organizations interested in WordRake, our enterprise licensing provides such a perfect fit there’s no reason not to have WordRake join spell-check and grammar-check as the iconic ‘of course’ tools for easily and efficiently improving writing.”
