Survey: Records Information Management is the Top Priority for 93% of Senior Information Governance and eDiscovery Executives

EDD logoTo better understand where the eDiscovery market is headed, the Legal Exchange Network surveyed its network of General Counsel and Global/Regional Heads of eDiscovery, Litigation, Compliance, Legal IT and Records Management. When asked what their top investment areas are, information management and collection took the lead with 93% of respondents planning to invest in information management solutions in the next 6-24 months.

Key findings include:

  • 93% of senior corporate executives selected information management and/or data collection as their top investment priority
  • 89% are going to invest in data preservation and/or data processing solutions over the next 6-24 months
  • Data review was highlighted as the 5th investment priority, with 86% of surveyed executives selecting this area
