LeClairRyan Calls IntApp Wall Builder an Important Part of its Business Development and Growth Strategy

IntApp logoIntApp, Inc., provider of the most-adopted information security software for law firms, today announced that LeClairRyan, a corporate law and litigation firm with offices across the United States, leverages IntApp Wall Builder as an important part of a business development strategy designed to support the acquisition of high-value clients and lateral hires to its growing firm.

Wall Builder is a web-based information security and access control management software application that enables organizations to centrally control, monitor and report on user access permissions across multiple applications, including document management, accounting, portal, CRM, time entry and records management systems. It also automates notifications to individuals subject to specific policies and tracks acknowledgments for compliance purposes.

Wall Builder is the most-adopted information access management software product by law firms with 150 or more lawyers. According to an independent survey by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) of its membership, 72% of large firms using commercial software to enforce confidentiality management use IntApp Wall Builder. Today, law firms use Wall Builder to manage information security and access controls for over 2 billion documents globally.

LeClairRyan also uses Wall Builder to help manage how contract lawyers access internal information. The firm occasionally engages contract lawyers to meet spikes in client demand in a cost-effective manner, but found that providing contractors with access to unrelated client information and firm work product created potential ethical concerns. Blocking access, moreover, created significant administrative burdens.
