IntApp, Inc., provider of the most-adopted information security software for law firms, today announced that Holland & Hart LLP, a full-service law firm of more than 400 lawyers in 15 offices, has selected IntApp Wall Builder to enforce ethical screens and manage information security.
Wall Builder is a web-based information security and confidentiality management software application that enables organizations to centrally control, monitor and report on user access permissions across multiple applications, including document management, accounting, portal, CRM, time entry and records management systems. It also automates notifications to individuals subject to specific policies and tracks acknowledgments for compliance purposes.
“We selected IntApp Wall Builder to help us enhance firm confidentiality practices and operational efficiency,” said Wiley Mayne, Partner, Holland & Hart LLP. “Our firm takes its duty to protect client information rules seriously. Wall Builder’s automated security enforcement and extensive audit trail management will enable us to better comply with professional rules and demonstrate effectiveness of ethical screens without creating additional administrative burdens for our lawyers or staff."
Law firms must closely manage and track internal access to client information for many reasons. These include client outside counsel guidelines, waiver-driven ethical screens, and compliance with regulations such as the HITECH Act, ITAR and several data privacy laws.
Wall Builder is the most-adopted information barriers software product by law firms with 150 or more lawyers. According to an independent survey by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) of its membership, 72% of large firms using commercial software to enforce information barriers use IntApp Wall Builder. Today, law firms use Wall Builder to manage confidentiality controls for over 1.5 billion documents globally.
“We’re proud to add Holland & Hart to our growing customer community,” said Pat Archbold, head of IntApp's Risk Practice Group. “By adopting Wall Builder, the firm is demonstrating its strong commitment to addressing client and professional confidentiality management and compliance requirements.”
