Levit & James, Inc. announced today that it has officially released Best Authority 3.0, a top-to-bottom rebuild of its industry-leading Table of Authorities (TOA) software. The company will demonstrate this breakthrough software at next week’s LegalTech New York show (booth #518).

Best Authority 3.0 includes a brand-new Citation Revision Tracking feature, which pinpoints citations added, changed or deleted due to author revisions. It also offers a TOA Preview, so that users can now see an image of the finished TOA, updated live as they proofread and edit.

Other highlights of Best Authority 3.0 include:

• Remarkable Speed – Scan performance is outstanding even for 10,000 citations.
• Easier Proofing – Version 3.0’s Review of Citations and Authorities is now even easier to use.  Citations are color highlighted in the document and are easily compared to the TOA Preview.
• Powerful Search Feature – Best Authority allows you to instantly locate citations by text or other attributes.
• Editing – Version 3.0 makes it even easier to edit citations in the document and make changes to the TOA’s text or formatting.
• Undo – If you make a mistake, simply use the Undo to roll back the change.
• Document History – An audit trail records every editing session and action. This is great not only for troubleshooting, but also for trainers who wish to see whether users are taking full advantage of Best Authority’s advanced features.
