Leading U.S. law firm Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott LLC will be migrating to Thomson Reuters 3E®, part of the Legal Professionals division of Thomson Reuters, making it the latest Enterprise® customer to move to the industry-leading enterprise business management solution.
As part of the multi-product deal, the firm also will be adopting 3E Data Insights, Advanced Financial Suite and 3E Paperless Proforma, among other solutions.
Established in 1958, Eckert Seamans is a full-service national law firm with a strong reputation and history of success that spans more than six decades. With more than 300 lawyers across a network of 15 offices, the firm provides clients with proactive, solution-oriented counsel in the areas of commercial litigation, including mass tort and products liability; corporate and business law; intellectual property; labor and employment relations; bankruptcy and creditors' rights; employee benefits; environmental law; construction; public finance; real estate; tax; estates; and transportation.
A long-time user of Enterprise, Eckert Seamans chose 3E to significantly streamline and optimize its operations. The firm will benefit from the robust automation capabilities offered by 3E, which will standardize workflows and automate critical functions across the entire firm to improve quality, increase efficiency, and reduce risk. Already a user of the pioneering e-billing solution eBillingHub from Thomson Reuters, Eckert Seamans will now also benefit from deeper integration with its time and data entry process across the firm. Finally, the firm will be utilizing 3E Paperless Proforma—an intuitive, browser-based pre-bill distribution and mark-up solution which provides sophisticated auditing, tracking, filtering, and reporting capabilities—to streamline and expedite the review process for improved cash flow, reduce paper costs within the pre-bill workflow, and expand productivity and profitability.
