“The global health crisis has provided law firms with the opportunity and urgency to restructure faster than they ever imagined. Remote work is working and has gained legitimacy more widely. It’s a great time to be supporting firms that want to make the most of the coming months and focus on projects that will equip their organizations to operate with greater agility and enhance client service,” said Jim Boyle. “I like the entrepreneurial spirit at Aurora North and am very excited to be working alongside some of the best and brightest in the industry.”

David R. Robinson, Principal Consultant - David R. Robinson also joins Aurora North as Principal Consultant, bringing nearly 30 years of law firm time management and integration experience. David was involved in the creation and development of Carpe Diem — the leading third-party time-entry solution at the time. He joined Advanced Productivity Software (APS) after Sage put Carpe Diem into maintenance mode. During his time at APS, he worked on re-engineering DTE to become the industry leading product. David then joined Intapp in 2007 to bring time capture to market with Intapp Time Builder.  When APS was later acquired by Intapp, he helped to combine DTE and Time Builder. He then moved into pre-sales and post-sales consulting roles as the product specialist for Intapp Time, Intapp Pricing, and Intapp Terms/Compliant Time. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Products at ZERØ software.

“Time recording was historically an annoyance for most lawyers, but has changed a lot in recent years with the availability of time capture and mobile apps which have made it far less manually intensive. And now that all lawyers are working remotely, many have changed the way they record time — and see the value of using technology to make time recording even faster, more accurate and efficient, and to automate compliance with client billing guidelines,” said David R. Robinson. “I’m very excited to be working with the consulting team at Aurora North as the time subject matter expert and to use my experience integrating with other solutions, working on implementation, upgrades and training to optimize the way firms use Intapp solutions.”

Adam Friedman, Sales Manager - Adam Friedman has joined Aurora North as Sales Manager. Based in Atlanta, Adam was previously a Managing Director at Intapp for 7 years, working mainly with law firms in the Southeastern US. Before moving to Intapp, he worked for nearly 10 years with solution providers for risk and compliance, as well as identity verification.

“Anyone who knows me knows that I like to understand what my clients really need, and then do everything I can to make sure they are on a path to success,” said Adam Friedman. “Aurora North is one of the most trusted Intapp services partners, with well over 700 projects completed with leading law firms. I have always felt confident recommending Aurora North and it’s great to be part of the team.”

“I am thrilled to make such phenomenal additions to the Aurora North team,” said Chris Kave, founder and principal, Aurora North. “Honestly, I have always been proud of the caliber of talent that we have at Aurora North — our expertise in technology and business processes, as well as the integrity of our people — and firmly believe that our law firm clients will benefit tremendously from access to this expanding brain trust.”
