Aurora North Completes 500th Technology Implementation Project
USA/Canada News

Aurora North logoAurora North, a leader in delivering IP solutions and Intapp products for law firms, today announced that they successfully completed their 500th implementation project.  The collaborative Aurora/client team completed an Intapp Open Conflicts project with Eversheds Sutherland – a global top 40 law practice - in January 2018.

“This is a major milestone for the company, and we’re pleased to celebrate with our long-term client Eversheds Sutherland,” said Chris Kave, Principal of Aurora North. “We have developed a services team deep in expertise and experience.  I’m extremely proud that we’re able to deliver consistent quality solutions to our clients.  Experience matters, and we continue to learn as the market evolves.  You can’t shortcut that process.”

Aurora provides a flexible project staffing model, based upon a law firm’s requirements.  In many cases, the implementation team consists of the full set of project skills, from project management to configuration and integration skills.  On the other end of the spectrum, Aurora has also taught clients to complete their projects independently with their ‘teach to fish’ model.

“Our highly structured project management approach provides project delivery certainty and predictability,” said Jeff Kirksey, Director of Business Technology at Eversheds Sutherland (US). “Aurora North slotted nicely into our structure, providing deep experience and expertise to supplement our team of experts.”

Other implemented technologies include Aurora’s IP practice management platform PracticeLink, Intapp’s Open Intake and Conflicts solutions, and Intapp’s Flow, Integrate, Time, and Walls products.  Aurora was the first Intapp services partner to implement Open Intake in the cloud in 2017.  Other noteworthy work includes transitioning Walls implementations from iManage to NetDocuments, and creating robust data synchs between IPM and Elite Trademark Sync (and iManage).

Legal IT Today #20

“The secret is capturing the learning from each of the projects that we complete,” said Curtis Russell, Director of Implementation Services at Aurora North. “We have a robust knowledge base with key learnings, where we can stand on the shoulders of the project teams before us.  Collaboration makes this work, along with a deep bench of strong talent and commitment to quality delivery.”
