Leading UK law firm, Shepherd and Wedderburn, has successfully deployed the latest version of iManage Work document management system; a modern, mobile, secure and user-friendly document management platform to over 500 users across its offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Aberdeen.
The solution has been implemented by Ascertus Limited, a provider of tailored information and document lifecycle management solutions to law firms.
Through iManage Work, lawyers at the firm are able to securely access the most up-to-date, matter-related content via an intuitive user interface from their tablets and smartphone devices when working out of the office or on the move.
“Steve Dalgleish, Applications Manager at Shepherd and Wedderburn, said. “We have deployed technologies such as iManage to deliver the functionality we need to meet the demands of discerning clients and our workforce. The professionalism and knowledge of the Ascertus team enabled us to do this fairly quickly.”
“Mobile capability is becoming increasingly important for law firms today, given the always-on business environment,” commented Roy Russell, CEO of Ascertus Limited. “Mobile access to the document management system greatly enhances fee earner productivity as it minimises enforced downtime due to travel or from being out of the office; and allows lawyers to work at times that suit their clients. We are seeing an increasing interest across our customer base for such capability.”
As a result of increased demand from new and existing iManage users, Ascertus has strengthened its support team, bringing on board technical professionals with a minimum of five years’ experience in managing the iManage solution.
