Rekoop leads way as Hewitsons signs
UK News

Rekoop logoTime capture specialist and global market leader Rekoop is continuing its progress within the UK Top 200 with the signing of Hewitsons. Rekoop will deploy its full product suite to over 100 users across offices in Cambridge, London, Milton Keynes and Northampton.

The roll-out will comprise Desktop, the primary time recording interface; Digital Footprint, which passively captures activity and automatically plugs timesheet holes; Mobile across a mixed estate; and telephony integration. It will link in with an Advanced Legal PMS.

Hewitsons’ managing partner, Colin Jones, explains the drivers behind the project: “We’re taking a close look at how we deliver our services and the opportunities available to add more value to our clients. Fundamental to that process is having a fact-based understanding, as opposed to an instinctive idea, of what it actually costs us to deliver all our various legal work types, and how we are performing against certain metrics. Time is the defining measure of cost and that’s why we’ve looked to Rekoop – it’s not just to capture all our time more accurately and more easily, but also to analyse the resultant data and, taking those insights, help shape our future legal business.”

Rekoop CEO Phil Wedgwood adds: “There is an emerging pattern here of Rekoop adopters looking way beyond just the mechanics of getting timesheets completed. The interest is all in the data that lies beyond, as firms really start to grasp this nettle of having to know your costs first before you do anything strategic on pricing or bidding or resourcing or specialisation or expansion, in fact, on pretty much anything at all that goes to the heart of the business.”
