Named in Inaugural Cool Vendors in AI for Legal Affairs, 2017 Report

Neota Logic, creators of a leading artificial intelligence (AI)-driven platform for the intelligent automation of expertise, documents, and business processes, has been selected by Gartner, Inc. as a Cool Vendor in the inaugural Cool Vendors in AI for Legal Affairs, 2017 report published this month.

Every year, Gartner identifies "Cool Vendors" in key technology areas and publishes a series of research reports highlighting key vendors and also flags to the business world major new disruptive sectors that can impact the way we work. For the first time ever, Gartner recognized legal Artificial Intelligence (AI) companies and stated, “legal technologies enabled by artificial intelligence can have a profound efficiency impact on the way legal services are delivered.”

This research report was designed to “help CIOs select innovative solutions that support contract analysis, legal research, knowledge management and case-predictive analytics.” Key findings include the concept that “enterprises are seeking to automate legal document processing; especially contract processing, and that “Traditional legal service delivery is increasingly becoming inefficient. Artificial intelligence (AI)-based solutions can move many services in-house, with improved cost and results” as well as “new legal AI technologies bring to the market solutions that aim to further automate legal service delivery and provide new insight for better decision making.”
