LexisNexis is first to incorporate leading drafting services in Microsoft Word

LexisNexis UK, a leading provider of content and technology solutions, today announced that it has launched Lexis®Draft, the first toolbar to combine LexisNexis content with workflow tools, including EagleEye proofreading from Microsystems, in the Microsoft Word environment.

The launch of LexisDraft sees the start of a new generation of LexisNexis services that will improve the way that lawyers work.

LexisNexis has partnered with Microsoft, Business Integrity and Microsystems to create LexisDraft. The collaboration provides advanced legal document automation and styling, citation checking and robust proofreading, all underpinned by leading LexisNexis content. All of these capabilities interact seamlessly within Microsoft Word, providing customers with a first-class user experience.

LexisDraft speeds up the time it takes to edit, monitor documents for changes in the law, and the process of checking legal facts and citations within a document. The integrated checking systems prevent avoidable errors, mitigating risk and driving continuous service improvement.
