Feature Enhancement Provides Final Link for Full End-to-End eDiscovery Platform

Recommind, the leader in unstructured data management, analysis and governance technology, today announced the expansion of its seamless eDiscovery capabilities with the availability of Axcelerate Legal Hold, a cloud-based application for secure litigation hold management.

Axcelerate Legal Hold is a tested, verified solution for managing litigation hold notification and workflow while protecting the integrity and confidentiality of the customer’s data. As a hosted solution, it requires no additional software licenses or hardware expenses and can be up and running quickly. The announcement follows the recent availability of Recommind’s Axcelerate EasyUpload, a unique cloud-based capability for direct transfer of ESI from a corporation to hosted review.

Key features of Axcelerate Legal Hold include:

• Completely auditable: Axcelerate Legal Hold provides a full audit trail to track important information, such as who has been advised of a hold, when.
• Fully hosted: Setup for Axcelerate Legal Hold is minimal, and is always up-to-date and accessible from anywhere in the world.
• Secure: Axcelerate Legal Hold encrypts user data, including emails and files, even when storing data on the application server. All servers are protected by multilayer firewalls, and user passwords are stored with one-way encryption that makes them inaccessible. Vulnerability testing, threat modeling and independent audits increase the security of the solution even further.

An annual subscription option includes unlimited client access, all data hosting fees, regular software maintenance and updates, backup and disaster recovery, initial training and user technical support. The annual subscription specifies a maximum number of allowable active custodian-holds in the system at any one time.
