Ius Laboris and Lewis Silkin partner to launch global employment law guide powered by AI
Global News

Lewis Silkin logoIus Laboris, the world’s leading alliance of specialist HR and employment lawyers, in partnership with Lewis Silkin, has today launched Delphius - an AI powered guide to global employment law for in-house legal and HR teams.

Delphius makes it easy to find quick answers to international employment law queries. Regularly updated by experts from across more than 50 jurisdictions, the platform provides instant access to information on current legislation as well as any upcoming changes to the law.

The tool provides concise guidance on a wide range of topics – from discrimination law in Hong Kong, to collective dismissals in France and Italy, or parental leave in Brazil.

Users can ask follow up questions to drill down into the detail of an issue, and – when additional support is required - easily connect within the platform to an expert lawyer from the jurisdiction in question.

Designed to make routine employment law research more efficient, Delphius helps in-house teams save time, identify and assess potential risks, and target external legal spend more effectively.

Ius Laboris and Lewis Silkin worked with Planes, a digital product agency, to develop Delphius. Using a mix of user-centred design and the latest AI models and development practices means the platform provides a seamless experience for users.

Richard Miskella, Joint Managing Partner at Lewis Silkin, said: "We’ve developed Delphius directly as a result of conversations with our clients, many of whom were asking us for faster, smarter access to reliable international legal guidance. Our goal was to create a product that tangibly makes life easier for in-house legal teams, and complements our existing expertise in international employment law. We’re really proud to have achieved that."

"Partnering with Ius Laboris to build out Delphius is a perfect example of how the promise of AI can be turned into practical impact for legal teams, and we’re looking forward to seeing this new tool in use around the world".

Lewis Silkin is a technology-enabled law firm – an approach driven by a desire to use technology to enhance services to clients. In 2025 the firm announced that it made Harvey, the secure legal generative AI platform, available to all colleagues across the firm. The firm also continues to advise clients at the cutting edge of AI, including in relation to employment and HR issues.
