ILTA's interim CEO assumes Chief Executive Officer Position

ILTA logoThe International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) announced today Joy Heath Rush will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately.  Ms. Rush had served as the Interim CEO of the association since October 2018. 

"When we brought Joy on as Interim CEO, it was with the hope that ILTA would become her new home. In her first four months, Joy has demonstrated the skills, leadership and spirit required to lead our dynamic organization," said Angela Dowd, ILTA Board President. 

Ms. Rush has made a career of leveraging technology to support and advance the practice of law. After nearly three decades serving in a variety of technology roles at Global 20 firm Sidley Austin, she joined Litera Microsystems in 2014 as Vice President of Client Development. Her ILTA experience dates back to 1996 and includes serving on the Board of Directors and as Board President from 2007 to 2009. 

"I could not possibly be more delighted,” said Ms. Rush. “When the Board offered me the position, I responded with an enthusiastic 'Yes!' I am privileged to be associated with ILTA and promise to serve the organization with professionalism, dedication and passion."
