FileTrail, a leader in next-generation information governance and records management software, announces its latest collaboration with NetDocuments, the leading secure cloud-based document, email and collaboration platform for law firms and corporate legal and compliance departments.
The new integration between the companies automates the management of internal firm IG policies along with outside counsel guidelines, making them actionable and auditable to guarantee compliance.
The latest collaboration between FileTrail and NetDocuments uses FileTrail’s recently introduced Governance Policy Suite (FileTrail GPS) to automate the management of both firm IG policies and OCG for all content in a firm’s NetDocuments system, creating a holistic solution that guarantees compliance. Integrated with NetDocuments, FileTrail GPS manages policies around information from the time a matter is created throughout its life cycle. This includes views on the policies themselves, compliance information, trend reports around the data in NetDocs and how data looks in relation to its appropriate governance policy, offering the industry’s only complete IG management tool.
