Global News

Wilson LS logoWilson Legal Solutions, a leading provider of software and services that help law firms and professional services organizations improve business performance, today announced that Lindsay Barthram has joined the company as director of consulting services for its EMEA operations.

In his new role, Barthram will act as a technical advisor to professional service firms to help them evaluate, implement, upgrade, and enhance practice management and analytics software solutions.

Barthram has worked in finance and IT for over 20 years, both as an in-house resource and as an external business and technology consultant. He has focused primarily on the implementation of software solutions from Thomson Reuters Elite, LexisNexis, Aderant, Intapp, and IBM Cognos. His areas of expertise include strategic reviews, business process reviews, software evaluation, implementation and project assurance, development, change management, and training and support.

“Lindsay is a brilliant guy who is very highly regarded in the industry,” says Norm Mullock, VP of strategy for Wilson Legal Solutions. “He brings with him extensive experience implementing advanced analytics solutions and is system agnostic when it comes to working with practice management software. We’re very excited to have Lindsay apply his unique combination of insight and ability to support our outreach efforts to professional service firms in EMEA.”

Suki Sahansara, director of EMEA for Wilson Legal Solutions, adds, “Lindsay is known for his ability to close the gap between ideas and execution. A lot of firms begin projects with really good people, but they can't quite mobilize them in a way to execute on expectations. By adding Lindsay to our already strong EMEA team, we’ll help to ensure that our clients are deriving ample value from their technology investments.”

Most recently, Barthram was head of business transformation at Fieldfisher LLP, where he oversaw the firm’s successful rollout of LexisOne. Prior to that, he served as head of business systems for Stephenson Harwood LLP, where he led a team of analysts and programmers and was responsible for business transformation on key Elite HR, CRM, and financial systems. Previously, Barthram owned a consulting business, where he served as a business transformation advisor and project director for legal technology projects and implementations. He also has worked as a systems manager with Norton Rose, where he was responsible for the global reimplementation of the firm’s Aderant Expert system across 15 locations and oversaw a team of seven system accountants. His background also includes working as a project manager and consultant with Thomson Reuters Elite, a consultant with Tikit Limited, an accountant with Eversheds London, and finance manager with Coudert Brothers London.

When asked about his decision to pursue a career with Wilson, Barthram says, “Wilson Legal Solutions has a very good reputation in the market, for its work as well as its people. The company has prioritized both driving its UK business dramatically forward and developing new markets, so now seems to be a very opportune time to join. I’m glad to be a part of that effort and to apply my knowledge and expertise in a bigger way to help firms navigate the complexities of technology change.”

Wilson Legal Solutions operates from seven offices across the United States, Canada, and the UK. Barthram will be based in the company’s office in London.
