Seal Software, the leader in AI-powered contract discovery, data extraction, and analytics, today announced the general availability of the latest version of the Seal Contract Discovery & Analytics platform. Seal is the only AI platform to provide extraction, logic engine, visualization and AI within a single architecture and platform.
Seal also announced its next generation of Seal Cloud Services, which includes enhanced security and availability. Additionally, the company has completed its SOC 2 Type 1 audit. Together, these enhancements will help Seal customers accelerate their development of digital apps on the market-leading content analytics platform.
“These new products and services will continue to further our adoption in the Global 2000,” said Kevin Gidney, co-founder, and CTO of Seal Software. “We constantly solicit feedback from our users and build in request enhancements in every release. 5.4 is representative of the focus on customer outcomes. Today’s release represents significant advances in three key productivity areas – contract on-boarding, rapid in-line document review and AI-enhanced logic engine processes.
Global 2000 organizations looking to drive better decision-making, tighter cost-control, adherence to industry regulations and higher revenues can gain insight into their contract corpora with Seal Software. The latest release, 5.4 represents a number of customer-driven enhancements aimed at productivity and end-user functionality.
Enhancements include: The introduction of an inline viewer that provides faster review times, thus avoiding the need to download documents; faster paths to information with fewer clicks required to perform core tasks; improvements in tabular data extractions; standard contract on-boarding capabilities and a logic engine that enables the application of business logic that enhances the entity extraction process. This includes the calculation of values, dates, the normalization of contract parties’ names, and more.
Seal Cloud Services (SCS) is a consistent and secured managed service where Seal deploys and manages the entire software stack and infrastructure, leveraging the latest automation tools and cloud technology. Seal has partnered with a leader in the space, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to offer state of the art performance, security, integrated compliance framework and industrial strength reliability. In addition to GCP’s core strengths, SCS performs annual risk assessments and remediation, including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning, antivirus/malware detection, intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
The GCP also provides access to the Tensorflow TPU technology which has been designed to optimize the execution of specific core machine learning models used by Seal. The purpose-built technology, not available outside the GCP, optimizes performance and scalability of the process intensive algorithms that extract meaning and context from the unstructured contract images and files.
“Increasingly our customers are favoring a cloud deployment model and understanding the security and privacy capabilities of their supplier’s stack is paramount,” said Marc Burckin, VP Support and Cloud Services, Seal Software. “Seal Cloud Services represents the leading-edge in cloud deployment for contract analytics, and the completion of our SOC 2 type 1 audit shows we are keeping our information security measures in line with today’s specific cloud requirements. Our customers should be confident that their data is safe and secure with our stack.”
Seal received the SOC 2 Type 1 attestation following an independent audit conducted by Schellman & Company, a world leader in compliance assessment and reporting. SOC 2 (Service Organization Control) reports are designed to meet the needs of clients who need to understand internal controls at the service organization as it relates to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
