Catalyst Names E-Discovery Veteran Eric Willis Head of Enterprise Solutions
Global News

Catalyst logoCatalyst has named Eric Willis, a veteran business leader with more than 15 years’ experience in e-discovery and law, to be vice president of enterprise solutions. In this role, Willis will advise and collaborate with corporate clients to design strategies that meet their current and future needs across the data management lifecycle.

“There’s increased pressure not only for corporations to reduce costs, but also to gain quick insight into their data to identify and mitigate areas of risk. This requires the right combination of technology, expertise and process,” said Catalyst CEO John Barr. “Eric has an established track record of understanding client pain points and addressing them through solutions that improve outcomes—whether the solution entails cost-effective strategies for litigation, investigations expertise to help clients make timely and data-driven decisions, optimizing data management processes, or securing confidential or sensitive data.”

Before joining Catalyst, Willis was director of product development at DiscoverReady, where he worked closely with corporate legal departments and law firms to build solutions to meet their discovery and other data management needs. During his tenure at DiscoverReady, Willis also led the analytics and automation team, a role in which he advised clients on ways to organize and understand information, reduce data volumes and ultimately lower discovery costs. Willis also served as a senior solutions consultant and project manager. Willis was part of the team at ACT Litigation Services prior to its sale to DiscoverReady in 2011.

Earlier in his career, Willis served as the lead attorney and project manager for large-scale document reviews, and was a lawyer at the Internet Law Group from 2001 to 2006.
