New Dynamic Data-Driven Monitoring Greatly Expands Product Capabilities
DocAuto, the leading provider of software solutions for Interwoven (www.interwoven.com) WorkSite, announced today the release of Version 1.5.13 of its popular Watchdog Server application. Version 1.5.13 delivers additional functionality to define customized notification profiles based on data that can be pulled dynamically from any external ODBC-compliant data source. This makes the definition of broad monitoring "policies" quick and efficient by leveraging the data from existing external systems.
Watchdog Server continuously monitors any number of WorkSite systems and automatically sends customized notifications to specific users based on the activity in WorkSite. Originally developed to help prevent content theft, unauthorized access to information, and other inappropriate user activity, Watchdog Server has been applied to a much wider range of common management and notification tasks. Users can receive notifications of specific events in WorkSite to provide for better customer service, to track the adoption of matter-centric structures, or to monitor master KM documents and forms. Watchdog Server is also used to initiate external processes as part of workflow or business process management applications.
“With Watchdog Server 1.5.13, users will now be automatically notified of any type of activity on their matters without administrative intervention,” said David Kiefer, president of DocAuto. “Watchdog Server continues to find new and novel uses in the WorkSite community, and now is even easier to maintain using data from other existing systems.”
