EDS and Global Search: Eclipse strengthens Proclaim’s document management

Integrated Case and Practice Management software specialist, Eclipse Legal Systems, has announced enhanced document management functionality within its Proclaim system.

Proclaim’s existing document management system features a precedent library, document / form creation and a ‘grouping’ feature to enable organisation of departmental and global files.  This latest enhancement strengthens the offering by providing EDS (Economic Document Send) and Global Knowledge Searching tools.

EDS
Economic Document Send (EDS) allows firms to automatically specify the order in which matter-related communications are despatched from Proclaim – either by email, fax or hard-copy.  These settings can be controlled globally (firm-wide), on a per client basis, or on a per document basis, enabling truly bespoke service delivery in line with Service Level Agreements and particular client preference.

Global Knowledge Search
Global Knowledge Search enables flexible, system-wide, keyword searching.  The tool enables single or multiple word searches and can be set to search within the Proclaim document management system, or on a wider “full-network” scale.  Results can be saved within a precedent / knowledge bank for individual, departmental or firm-wide use and review.
