JST Lawyers improves document turnaround 200% and makes substantial cost savings via BigHand digital dictation

BigHand, the leading digital dictation vendor for the legal community, has today announced that Liverpool law firm JST Lawyers has reported significant return on investment within just 10 months of implementing the BigHand digital dictation workflow system. The project has also included use of BigHand’s award-winning BlackBerry Edition for remote dictation.

The firm switched 34 users from analogue tape dictation to the BigHand system during early 2008; a thorough review of the market confirmed BigHand as the most technically advanced system available, designed specifically to increase law firm productivity and reduce overheads. JST’s Head of IT, John Stirrup, explains why the firm chose BigHand over alternative providers, and details the ROI achieved to date:
