HighQ delivers secure enterprise collaboration platform for Trip Lawyers & Civil Law Notaries
Continental Europe News

HighQ logoTrip Lawyers & Civil Law Notaries (Trip) has chosen to use HighQ Collaborate to enable the firm to share confidential information with clients and colleagues. Trip is the largest law firm in the North of Holland, with approximately 80 lawyers based in three offices in Groningen, Assen and Leeuwarden.

Geert Jan Veldthuis, Finance & ICT Manager comments: “Our practice required a user-friendly solution to collaborate securely online with clients and colleagues. In the past we have used document exchange solutions which were provided by the client, but we wanted to be able to set up our own secure workspaces as an additional service. HighQ demonstrated they could provide the flexibility, security and functionality we were seeking.”

HighQ Collaborate has a standard Connector with the document management solution of Trip. With this Connector Trip can now upload documents, folders or entire workspaces automatically to HighQ Collaborate.

Veldthuis continues: “We wanted an easy to administer solution and the ability to quickly set up data room facilities without the need to call on outside help. HighQ’s past experience with the legal sector, the level of support they have provided and the fact that they could bring the platform into production for us within a month were the final factors on which we based our decision.”

In the meantime there have been a number of presentations to the different practice areas and the firm is considering using the platform for additional uses. “The feedback has been very positive”  Veldthuis comments, “we aim to use the platform not only as our data room, but also as our standard client portal where clients will see an  overview of the relevant documents in their matters. We are also considering using HighQ Collaborate to function as our new corporate intranet to cover our internal collaboration requirements, since it has so many use cases.”

Dries Ausems, Business Development Manager at HighQ said: “It is great to work on this project at Trip. Not only is this now the fourth Dutch law firm to choose HighQ Collaborate, Trip is also planning to utilise the full potential of our solution in line with our vision of one platform which blurs the lines between external and internal collaboration.”
