Logol, an innovative Swiss technology solutions provider, announces that it has signed an agreement with top Swiss legal firm Kellerhals Carrard to implement a sweeping digital transformation program leaning on ELLE, Logol’s groundbreaking law firm management platform.
The three-year, multi-phase project includes a complete rethink of KC’s technology infrastructure, redesign of business processes, implementation of robotic process automation and introduction of state-of-the-art, AI-based cybersecurity solutions. The effort will engage KC's entire organization and lead to an empowered workplace, enhanced services and an all-new IT-based competitiveness.
“I have been with KC for almost 20 years, during many of which I was involved in defining our company's innovation roadmap,” says Daniel Alder, Partner at Kellerhals Carrard Zurich and Head of the KC IT Commission. “Today, two decades after the Internet revolution, we are once again facing a season of disruptive change. This time, too, we want to be at the forefront of transformation.”
“Embracing technological innovation becomes crucial for all legal firms, to better leverage resources, optimize workflows and provide superior services to clients,” says Marco Farina, Founder and CEO of Logol. "While the legal sector has not been among the fastest to grasp the advantages of digital transformation, it is a sector that will benefit immensely from the availability of mature and highly secure technologies that will make a great impact in transforming the current business landscape."
“With ELLE, KC chooses the path to artificial intelligence and robotic process automation provided by Logol and Microsoft specifically for the needs of the legal sector,” continues Daniel Alder. “Joining major innovative movers, we aim to position KC among the first large law firms in Switzerland to be empowered through digital transformation. This ambitious move will allow us to reap the benefits that come with driving the paradigm shift and inspiring not only our own colleagues and teams, but also many clients, partners and law professionals in Europe and worldwide.”
Kellerhals Carrard was initially evaluating a new ERP that could streamline processes, enable new forms of collaboration, provide new services to clients and empower employees. Logol proposed to extend the ERP handover to encompass a broader digital transformation project. Pivoting on the ELLE solution, completely based on Microsoft technology and integrated with the Microsoft 365 suite, Logol redesigned the client's technological architecture, putting compliance and data security at the heart of the project and enabling anywhere, anytime access to authorized users. ELLE features a broad range of CRM, invoicing and accounting functionalities, taking care of all the daily tasks of a legal practice automatically. Fully integrated solutions for Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, Reporting and Business Intelligence complete the functionality of the ERP platform.
